Great Black Back Gull P:01B was seen at Radipole Lake Weymouth (close to Portland Harbour ) 28th April 2017 by Luke one of our ringing team.

Ringed June 2013 seen once in each of the following years 2014, 2015 & 2016 all sightings from the Lizard Cornwall.

Great Black Back Gull P:79A 18th & 20th April, P:08A 20th April both GBBGull's are regular visitors to the Axe.

Herring Gull 640 ringed on the Break water June 2016 was seen for the first time since ringing on the 21st April also on the Axe by Ian.

Our Gulls so far have been mainly observed along the Channel and the Atlantic coast of France, with less than 5 exceptions.

The latest being GBBGull P:41C ringed June 2016 and first sighting coming 22nd April 2017 from Richard Bonser who saw it at Greenland Dock, Rotherhithe, London.

Ian McLeans list from the Axe Estuary Devon, gave two notable sightings, having said that all sightings are notable and of interest.

Gbbgull's P:63B, P:83A, P:88B regulars on the Axe seen 3rd April 2017.

P:68C ringed June 2016 first sighting was on the Otter in Devon  during February 2017 and Ian has had the second sighting on the Axe 5th April 2017.

Ian also had the first sighting since ringing in June 2015 of Herring Gull 547. Seen on the Axe 3rd April 2017, where this one has been for nearly two years, ah if only we knew.
