 GBBGull P:72F has returned to Newlyn Harbour Cornwall for the second time this year seen once more on the 10th November. Sighting passed on by the West Cornwall ringing Group.

A regular visitor to Perelle Beach Guernsey is GBBGull P:43A seen there on the 13th November. This Gull is a well established Channel Island resident.

 GBBgull P:22D has made a return visit to Le Portel Pays de Calaise on the 10th November, seen by Julien Yvon.

 GBBGull P:10B was back in the roost on Portland on the 18th October seen by Mark Cutts.

This years fledglings are continuing to give first sightings or in the case of GBBGull P:02K first and second sightings on consecutive days.

Seen by Jean-Philppe Sampier on the Isle de Brehat off the North Coast of Brittany on the 20th & 21st October ringed June 2024.

 A connection between Perelle Beach Guernsey and Porz Paol, Ouessan, Bretagne, France

Octobre 14th GBBGull P:61H returned to Perelle Beach Guernsey previous visit was in Sptember 2024 seen by Wayne Turner.

Two days later on the 16th October it was seen at Porz Paol Ouessant Bretagne an island off the West Coast of Finistere Brittany (Bretagne) by Julien Piolain.

Not to be forgotten the most regular GBBGull of ours P:43A was back once more at Perelle Beach on the 13th & 14th October.

 Our Gulls continue to appreciate the delights of Perelle Beach in Guernsey.

GBBGull P:43A is never very far away back again on the 16th September

Over on the Bill of Portland back in home waters were two of this years fledlings.

 Another first sighting for Perelle Beach Guernsey GBBGull P:61H gave its frist sighting since ringing on the 16th September. Originally ringed in June this year.

 Our Gulls are moving around and giving sightings.

GBBGull P:60H was on the fish Quay in Plymouth seen by Luke Marsh seen there on the 4th September, a wise place for a Gull to visit, . On the 12th September it had moved out to the roost on Blaxton Meadows still on the Plym Estuary, seen by Pete Aley. Ringed June this year.

GBBGull P:76H ringed in June gave its first sighting at Perelle Beach Guernsey seen by Wayne Turner on the 12th September.

Two regular visitors to Perelle are GBBG P:63D there on the 9th September and P:43A the 10th September. All sighted by Wayne Turner.

A second sighting for GBBGull P:05K seen on the Chesil Bank at West Bexington by Mike Morse on the 15th September. Previous sighting was on the Otter Estuary Devon on the 7th August.

 On the 1st September GBBGull P:04H gave its second sighting since fledging in 2023, it was seen at Slapton Sands Devon. Previous sighting was in January this year over in Brittany.

 Gbbgull P:87H ringed 2nd July gave its first sighting at Abbotsbury Swannery Dorset on the 22nd August.

Gbbgull P:05K was seen on the Otter Estuary Devon on the 7th August ringed 2nd July 2024, sighting by Rick Lockwood.

Perelle Beach Guernsey is receiving regular visits of colour ringed Gulls, Wayne Turner is sending in regular sightings of our Gulls.
GBBGull P:42B seen 18th August ringed 2014 previous sightings in Cornwall, Dorset and Guernsey.
GBBGull P:63D seen 21st August ringed June 2014. 23 sightings so far and all from Guernsey.

 Sightings of Gulls from all projects are amatter of the right person being in the right place at the right time to send in their sightings.

Mike Hill ha sent in threee sightings from the Axe Estuary Devon all from the 19th August.

GBBGull P:46B last seen in NOvember 2019 nice to know it is still ok after nearly a 5 year break

GBBGull P:04D back after just over a year of not being seen, equally welcome news.

GBBGull P:62A is virtually a daily visitor to the Axe at the moment, there must be a good local food supply.

 Judging by the number of sightings given by our Great Black Backed Gulls the Autumn migration is under way, 9 in the last week.

Our first sighting from this years ringing GBBGull P:05K ringed 2nd July and sighted on the 7th August to west on the Otter Estuaty in Devon by Rick Lockwood..

Mike Hill sighted GBBGull P:62A on 4 occasions on the Axe Estuary Devon along with 
P;99C 8th Augusand P:87B on the 10th August.

P:13D at Perelle on the 8th August ringed June 2021 this is the 3rd sighting since then.

To finnish this post GBBGull P:58A one of the first ringed at the start of our project in June 2012. Sighted back on Portland in a field just above the Bill by Mark Cutts on the 14th August after a 6 year gap.
The last sighting was August 2018 also on Portland.

 GbbGull P:89F has now visited the Axe Estuary having been to Guernsey and West Bexington Dorset since it was ringed in June 2023. Sighting by Mike Hill who also noted GBBGull P;62A was still in the Axe Estuary area on the 27th and 31July.

Over on Guernsey on the 4th August GBBGull P;38D made a return visit to Perelle Beach Guernsey seen by Wayne urner.  It has made 2 visits that we know of to Perelle so far and 1 visit to Jersey since being ringed in June 2021.
