Always nice to receive a sighting of a Herring Gull either they are better at hiding their rings to observers or are not as interesting. We are interested in Both the Gull species we ring, always happy to receive sightings.

Herring Gull 420 was ringed as a 1st year at Radipole Lake Weymouth during December 2011, seen there again during May 2012 and since then regularly on the Hayle Estuary in Cornwall.

The latest sighting coming from Jane Duffy and Stan Christophers seen on the 4th February in the Hayle Estuary.
