 Our Great Black Backed Gulls appear to be on the move from the sightings that are coming in.

GBBGull P:06D ringed June 2019 first sighting was in March 2020 on Guernsey where it has been a regular visitor. March 2022 it was on the Hayle estuary Cornwall and now on the 13th July it was at Slapton Sands Devon.

Slapton Sands is becoming a popular spot for Gulls GBBGull P:47D has discovered the delights of this site visiting on the 13th July 2022 the only previous sighting was at Ostende Belgium in August 2020. Which was the furthest sighting we have had to the East of Portland.

Over to West Bexington Beach Dorset on the 16th July Mike Morse sighted GBBGull P:26D on the 16th July this is the first sighting since ringing in June 2021.

Last but not least for this up date over to Northern Brittany France and a sighting from Jean Roger Perrot with a sighting of GBBGull P:16B seen at L'Abesse Plougasnous Brittany on the 17th July, the same site as the previous sighting in July 2021.
